The Diocese of Thanjavur runs two Social Service Organizations:

1. TMSSS – Thanjavur Multipurpose Social Service Society: TMSSS does social service in four Districts: Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur and Cuddalore. TMSSS Conducts various programmes For education, social work, health work and other activities at the grass root level.
